Welcome to anniespinkhouse on Dreamwidth. The username Eisht is from my Tumblr and in case you're wondering is more of a 'hush' noise. It is Wenglish (corrupted Welsh/English spoken in the Welsh Valleys) and is from the Welsh word 'ust' meaning 'Be quiet'. It is quite literally me reminding myself to shut the fuck up, nobody needs to be bored by my crap.

I shall be moving from LJ very slowly. For now I have only imported my entries. All my links take back to LJ. I simply don't have the spoons to fix it right now. I will work on it but a snail might be faster.

The main focus of my LJ is my fanfiction, but you may also come across other fanworks and fandom musings and just occasionally a personal or inspirational post.

My fiction veers wildly from general and fluff through to extremely dark and uncomfortable. What can I say? My muse is random and I like to explore different plots and relationship/power dynamics. Please check warnings and tags for squicks and triggers and heed those warnings.

I don't own any rights to any of the shows that my fiction dabbles in and I don't make any profit on it.
I do write RPF, especially J2. Please note that in all of these stories I simply like to play with their visage, in much the same way as they would act out a character as a part of their profession. Their real lives and relationships are none of my business.

Hi!
I have a Dreamwidth. Or rather, I still have a DW. Well. Ha. Weird. I could swear I remembered deleting this.
It's fate, I guess.
And I don't have to think up yet another user name 'cos that sucks. I AM way behind on cross posting but ~meh~ pretty sure I am at LJ too. It's all at AO3 though.

With the current social media storm focused on mid-term elections in the U.S.A, I thought it might be fun to think about how Sam and Dean would fit into it all.

There have been allusions to politics, through recent seasons, with Leviathans being heavily poised to go that route. There was a remark to au hunters (I think) about the current SPN world President being an-ex reality show host,and there was a whole episode called LOTUS where the President was possessed by Lucifer, and if that isn't some political shade, I don't know what is.

I don't remember many political references prior to season 7, but maybe somebody can correct me. In one of the time jump episodes I also seem to recall Dean enjoying mentioning that the President is a black man but I don't have the episodes on hand to check. Can any of you clever fandom folk confirm this?

Anyhow, if the politics of Supernatural do mimic those in the real word, then today Sam and Dean will be in a world where important mid-term elections are happening. Bearing in mind that the boys are currently harboring some rather illegal immigrants in the bunker, does anyone have any headcanon on how they would vote? Do you agree with the way that the show represents politics? Maybe, in their world, monsters and demons are responsible for corruption of politicians? Are the boys cozily registered in their own name, with the zip code of the bunker or do they commit voter fraud to cast their ballot? Do they vote at all? Are they too busy hunting monsters and babysitting the vessel of Satan?

Give us your headcanons. Hell, give us some creations. I am suddenly greedy for fic and art of the boys casting their ballot, or in line covered in the blood and grime from a hunt they've rushed back from, to vote. I need them wearing an 'I voted' sticker, or maybe canvassers nervously knocking on the bunker door to get their last minute vote. I want Sam hacking the system so they can cast their ballot from afar, or just the boys, shamelessly killing the demon-candidate in the toilets while the results are being declared.

So, yes, ahem, thoughts anyone?

This was born out of a few factors: A prompt which I remembered incorrectly so bears no resemblance to the story, a walk on the beach after rainfall, musings on some research for my last wincest fic, oh, and the terror of joining a writing circle where the members bring a short piece of (non explicit) writing every fortnight. Yes! Big News! I joined a local writer's circle. *Waits to see how long it is before they research fanfiction and throw me out on my ass*

I wrote it then wondered what to do with it. Thought, what the heck, it can go with the rest of my stuff. Apologies if you're only here for fandom.

I have finished my move across the border and to the coast. I'm rid of the old house and the town which I never fit into and I feel better for it.

The rub of it is that I have had to communicate with multiple people and organisations and it has been draining. I have nothing left to communicate online. In those circumstances I would normally post pics of the good things, to share. Silly me, I haven't managed to set up any photo sharing accounts, I just can't get the hang of them in my fried-brain state.
Is it enough then to just say that I still appreciate you all and enjoy your news? That I'm out here in RL, lurking in your fandom lives? And thank you for being there?

*edit* woohoo I found the dreamwidth photo hosting so here's one of my favourite new places to walk when I can convince myself to get outside.

I suck at Dreamwidth. Seriously, this has take me nearly an hour to work out (taking into account that Photobucket just plain sucks).

Anyhow, I swore I would work it out and since my wincest reverse bang is due to be posted on Saturday I'd better get learning pronto.

Description: NC-17. Post series 1. Stefan comes home in a crop top and booty shorts, but it isn't the outfit which surprises Rash. Stefan is behaving out of character and Rash is a detective. He works it out. Awkward British comfort ensues. ~2000 words

Apparently, what inspires most of my SPN short fic is tiny details in the script which get under my skin. Today was one of those days.

IDK. My kids grew up with Pokemon. They are out there now, fully grown and hunting them. We played too much Pokemon Trainer during holidays and wet days. I watch too much Supernatural, invest too much time in Sam and Dean. All of this combines to DO STUFF to my brain. A weird ficlet was the result.This isn't a crossover, more a 'what if Pokemon Go is available in their world too' fic and only a vague knowledge of Pokemon Go is required to understand it.
