Supernatural Season 7 Premiere.

No spoilers, just WOW.  It has never been my intention to write about individual eps. but the inner fangirl needs to squee to somebody.

I always worry that  my expectations, built up over the entire hiatus, will mean that the actual episode can't live up to them, but no, expectations exceeded, in spades, and now I don't know how to survive the wait until next week.

This ep really was made of win, and I hope it is indication of what the rest of the season will be like.
Funny, everyone noticed Dean's hair but me (& Lauren) apparently. I'll have to check it out later when I watch with the guy. And I just gotta repeat Lauren's great line about wanting to lick Dean's voice right off his tongue. Holy fuck, seriously.
There was just soooo much great stuff here -- Cas smiting the homophobes and hypocrites, Sam praying to Cas and getting him to come to them for help, the King of Hell in an RV, Dean watching hentai, Death -- just Death -- so much awesome. And, yeah, Cas isn't Cas anymore (at least for awhile) but it's cool to get to see Misha do yet another character and to have the whole dynamic of the show change. Exciting.
