I feel you, mine just started her third year of university. It feels like I just dropped her off for the first year, yesterday. I'm pretty sure the years are picking up speed. :( As for some of the furnishing, we used a lot of milk crates when we were first living together. They make great book cases and little end tables. Getting your hands on them might be a problem these days but back then they'd give them to you.
